To move on to challenge Oracle for the America's Cup, Luna Rossa must win six races in a row, and Emirates Team NZ need just one more win. A tall order. Today's races could have been the end of the road for Luna Rossa, if Race 8 had not been postponed until tomorrow due to high winds, and ETNZ had won both races.
To cover that possibility, Sail-World photographer Chuck Lantz was stationed on the LVC VIP lounge race-deck, shooting photos of the finish and the crowds of spectators lining the pier in the AC Village.
Both LVC boats head back to the start area before high wind postponement, with yacht 'America' replica in the foreground. - America's Cup - Chuck Lantz Click Here to view large photo
