Upon arriving in Panama, Derry-Londonderry skipper, Mark Light was in positive mood after his team’s fifth position in the race from Oakland, San Francisco Bay.
'We were right up there in second place at one point but then dropped down to tenth so to climb back up to fifth position was a great race for us.
'I’m really pleased to be here and I’m looking forward to a couple of bays in Panama before transiting the canal which is something I’ve always wanted to do.'
