Virgin Garden Tea sponsors Melbourne Premier Racing Series

Royal Geelong Yacht Club is pleased to announce that thanks to the sponsorship of Virgin Garden Organic Tea, the Melbourne racing of the Premier Racing Series will be now run as a stand alone 2-day Invitational Regatta*, with the winners of both Divisions A and B receiving a fantastic holiday prize to the Gold Coast.

All entrants in the Festival of Sails Premier Racing Series are invited to compete in the stand alone 2-day racing program, being run out of the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria.

The prize for the winner of both divisions of the Premier Racing Invitational will be return flights* and accommodation for two people in a luxury Broadbeach Apartment for four nights.

With plenty of action around the club and in the adjacent Commonwealth Reserve, the fleet is encouraged to make Williamstown their home over the weekend of 21 and 22 January and then prior to the Australia Day Passage Race.

Make sure you book your berth early to avoid disappointment. All bookings must be made with the club prior to arrival to ensure a suitable berth is available. Berthing arrangements, please contact: Steve Iosifidis at RYCV 0408 260 005

FESTIVAL OF SAILS AT ROYAL YACHT CLUB OF VICTORIA
Thanks to Hobsons Bay Cith Council and the Royal Yacht Club of Victoria there will be a great vibe around RYCV and Commonwealth Reserve, as the Festival of Sails returns to Williamstown in 2012.

Friday 20th January:
Celebration dinner at Royals Restaurant from 6pm (please book with RYCV on 03 9397 1277). Followed by free movie in Commonwealth Reserve at 9pm. RYCV Club Bar open from 5pm.

Saturday 21st January:
Royals Restaurant open for breakfast from 8am and lunch followed by evening post race BBQ from 4pm onwards. RYCV Club Bar open from 8am (for breakfast) until late.

Sunday 22nd January:
Royals Restaurant open for breakfast from 8am and lunch. Free open air concert at Commonwealth Reserve, Summer Sounds 2pm-4pm followed by evening BBQ at Royals after race approx 4pm onwards.

Wednesday 25th January:
Royals Restaurant open for lunch
Pipe band playing in Commonwealth Reserve 12-2pm.

Wednesday 25th January: Pre-Passage Race Party
Dinner & BBQ at Royals in evening.
Fantastic band playing at Royals from 7.30pm 'Complete Bar Stools'.

Thursday 26th January:
Royals Restaurant open for breakfast only from 6.30 am.
Egg and Bacon rolls to go.

* Melbourne Premier Racing Invitational Series has been amended to become a stand alone regatta with no points carrying forward to the Geelong Premier Racing Series. Entry in the Festival of Sails Premier Racing Series includes entry in the Melbourne Premier Racing Invitational Series and berthing at RYCV on 21st and 22nd January.
