KA Sails Australian Moth National Titles 2012 - Races three and four were held in some of the most challenging conditions any foiling moth fleet has seen in a major championship. With a strong westerly blowing for most of the day the sea state progressively grew throughout the day. Sailing in waves close to 1.5 -2m in height and wind varying from 5-18 knots the fleet sailed well in conditions few had sailed in before.

Race three averaged 15 knots and saw New Zealand 49er champion, Peter Burling led from start to finish with Nathan
Outteridge taking second from series leader, Rob Gough close behind in third.

Race four was sailed in a fading breeze with Rob Gough getting out to an early lead where he was about to consolidate all the way to the finish. Scott Babbage took second from Nathan Outteridge came through in third.
