Big Day today!
All Blacks vs. France, very good to see my first and last game for this Rugby World Cup.
We hope to get frequent updates over the next few weeks – the Nations hopes and dreams are pinned on the All Blacks right now, which pretty much overshadows our all Kiwi venture, but by the time we get to Wellington we will be more than happy to fill the void that the RWC leaves behind.
Wore my All Blacks rugby jumper today to watch the game, and all of a sudden all these French, Irish and other rugby mad nationalities struck up conversations while walking down the street. I need to wear it more often, but when I am not trying to get stuff done!
Wonder if I should send a BSL shirt to Dan Carter and Richie McCaw so that they get some similar yachtie oriented public attention?
Boat all done today, loaded some final stores, a quick dive to clean the bottom, then off to El Corte Ingles for a quick shop for a family dinner tonight.
So, sitting in our apartment looking at last minute weather (will be no chance tomorrow) – Ross & Jan have just arrived and making sandwiches for tomorrow, roast chicken in the oven, James (not family but just sort of showed up and is kipping on the sofa) serving drinks, Fraser has had his dinner and dragging out bedtime with the extra attention – but Tracy has come down on that and off he goes. Ross and Campbell are supported by BSL, Buckley Systems Ltd, a world leader in precision electromagnet manufacturing. Bill Buckley was recently named as New Zealands' Entrepreneur of the Year for 2011.
