Coverage is from Sunday to Tuesday (7, 8, 9 August), with the racing starting at 1415 British Summer Time (BST, 1 hour ahead of GMT) with 49er and windsurfing action ahead of the Extreme 40 racing starting at 1500 BST
Day 6, right now, our weather provider WetterWelt has issued a forecast with strong 28 knot winds and strong 32+ gusts - possibility of decreasing a bit late afternoon after front has gone through. A decision has already been taken that there will be no racing before 1600 BST today, and Race Management will monitor the weather situation to see if any racing is possible after 1600BST after the tide has turned and the sea state may be flatter. Yesterday was the first time in the five year history of the circuit that the organisers was forced to cancel racing entirely. We're hoping that won't be the case again today but the weather gods are not on our side right now.
