Six brand new Beneteaus to arrive in Queensland
|
Ensign Ship Brokers are receiving six new Beneteaus in the next few months, the procession of yacht deliveries being kicked-off with a First 40 due on July 5. Ensign’s Beneteau brand manager Florian Coroller said there will be some strong competition around Morton Bay waters, with two latest-generation First 40s optimised for performance and racing. 'Two First 40s, both being birthed at RQYC, Manly, have been fully optimised for the full regatta programme including Airlie Beach, Hamilton Island and Magnetic Island Race Weeks, one even warming up for the main objective of Sydney to Hobart,' Mr Coroller said. 'Lucky Queenslanders will also have the opportunity to charter the brand new Oceanis 50 Family in the Whitsundays with the Mairs boys at RealSail Charters.' 'This is the first of its kind up there and it’s going to be a beautiful boat to charter.' Also due to arrive around August and September are three of the best-selling boats Beneteau has ever built, the Oceanis 40. 'A couple of the Oceanis 40s were ordered at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, where Ensign had one on display,' Mr Coroller said. 'These spacious, well-designed cruisers will be heading to different parts of Queensland, from the Gold Coast, Harvey Bay and Cairns.' Ensign is happy to be growing the reach of the Beneteau brand in Queensland, where once most new Beneteaus were delivered around the Gold Coast and Brisbane. 'Earlier this year we delivered an Oceanis 43 to Gladstone and now Ensign is reaching right up to Cairns which is fantastic,' Mr Coroller said. 'With great returns on the Euro, Queensland yachties are taking advantage of the Australian dollar, choosing to buy Beneteau - the number one yacht brand in the world.' With the factory production line closing in August and reopening in September, Ensign is expecting some exciting news from Managing Director Tony Ross when he returns this week from the Beneteau world-wide dealer meeting in France.
