Former ISAF World Youth Champion, Dan Slater, is on his third Olympic campaign, and his second in the Mens Heavyweight Singlehanded event, in the Finn class.
Last Saturday, on Newstalk ZB, Slater spoke to top international yachting commentator, PJ Montgomery, and reflected on where he is at with his campaign. What he needs to do to be competitive with the front-runner in the class, triple Olympic Gold medallist, Ben Ainslie (GBR), and has a look at the fortunes of the New Zealand team generally, heading into the Pre-Olympics in August at Weymouth.
