|Two Aussie teams will be racing at the ISAF Women’s Match Racing World Championship in Lysekil, Sweden. Katrie Spithill ranked ninth in the world and Nicki Souter, ranked 15th.
The Australian crews for the Worlds will not be selected until after the Kiel World Cup event. The entire ASDS Match Racing Squad (12 athletes) are heading to Europe shortly and will be there through to the end of the Worlds.

Katie Spithill with Stacey Jackson/Jess Eastwell/Rayshele Martin are competing in the Santa Maria Cup in the USA next week.
All Squad members will then travel to the AIS European Training Centre in Varese, Italy for a 2 week training camp – the AIS has provided a significant grant to facilitate this camp.
The Squad will then travel to Kiel, Germany for the World Cup event – we will have 4 crews competing (all of the Squad members). Only skippers have been identified, crews will be selected during the Varese training camp. Skippers for Kiel will be Katie Spithill, Nicky Souter, Lucinda Whitty, Amanda Scrivenor. This will be the first time the new Elliott 6 boats will be raced.
