Brits extend lead at 505 World Championships

'505 Worlds 2008'    505

The British pair Ian Pinnell and Carl Gibbon continue to lead the 505 World Championship after three races completed. Jorgen and Jacob Bojsen-Moller of Denmark are in second place and three time world champion Wolfgang Hunger and Juien Kliener of Germany are third.

Pinnell and Gibbon followed their opening race win with a second and a fourth, the only team to stay in single figures, and take a 16 point lead.

The second championship race went to the USA pair, Harry Hamlin and Andy Zinn, which they followed with a sixth place in race three, but they carry a 56 from race one, so languish in 16 overall at present.

Race three was won by Tom Bojland and Andres Friis of Denmark. They had a ninth in the first race and a 29 in race two and now stand sixth overall.
