Steve Gray, former DaimlerChrysler UK Marketing Director, has left the driving seat and taken up the helm to head up the RYA’s Marketing Department as the organisations new Marketing Manager.
Swapping cars for boats, Gray brings to the RYA a strong marketing track record that includes the establishment of the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands in the UK, working first for independent distributor Inchcape and then DaimlerChrysler UK.
With a passion for dinghy racing at his local club Whitstable Yacht Club, and a lifelong interest in all things boating, Gray looks forward to the challenges of his new role.
He explains 'I am delighted to be joining the RYA. I look forward to helping grow participation across the board, as well as the challenge of helping protect the interests of our members and the boating community in general.'
