The Italian pair of Gabrio Zandona and Andrea Trani continue to lead the Men's 470 World Championship after five races have been completed. Keeping their lead by just one point from a chasing pack that includes, Britain's Nick Asher and Elliot Willis in second and Nick Rogers and Joe Glanfield in third place.

And in a three-way tie on points for fourth place are Gustavo Doreste and Dimas Valdivielso (ESP), Pierre Leboucher and Vincent Garos (FRA) and Onin Rodriguez and Aaran Padilla (ESP). All on 13 points just four off the leader.

'There isn't much in it between the winners.' Rogers said. 'We're happy how we're sailing,' Willis said. “We're getting a nice change in conditions. We like to get a mixture. We're a jack-of-all-trades.'

Zandora/Trani are still leading the regatta on nine points after the second say of racing. 'Today we had really good speed but the main problem was that we made several bad tactical choices,' Zandora said.

Racing will resume tomorrow at 13.00 hours.
