Mike Leigh of Canada has a one point lead over Tom Slingsby (AUS) after seven of the eight scheduled races were completed in the Australian Laser Nationals. Rutgar van Schaardenburg (NED) is in third place, tied with Britain's Nick Thompson.
In the Women's Radial event, Australia's Sarah Blanck has a one point lead from Veronika Fencova (CZE). Jo Aleh (NZL) is in third place with just the final race to be sailed on 2 January.
Britain's Andrea Brewster is in sixth place and Lizzie Vickers in seventh place. Laura Baldwin is in 15th place.
