Victory for Singaporean pair at Aussie 29er Champs

Justin Liu and Sherman Cheng from Singapore won the 29er Australian Nationals held at the Mordialloc Sailing Club, Australia. Byron White and William Ryan (AUS) were second and Alexandra Maloney and Blair Tuke (NZL) third.

Britain's Huw Humpheries and Robert Gibbs finished 33rd.

Next event for the 29ers will be the World Championship, starting on the 2 February at the Sorrento Sailing Couta Boat Club. Eleven GBR teams are taking part, with an entry of over 100 expected.
