Great news with continuing expansion of Audi Australia's already strong support of sailing in Australia. The best story to come out of the Hamilton Island Regatta was the win by the non-spinnaker cruising sailors, of the Audi A4 Avant.
This is an inspiration to cruising and racing sailors alike, who will be looking to see if they need to add a shark hook to their sail repair kits. We are certainly looking forward to the 2007 Audi Hamilton Island Race Week.
Thanks also to Hahn Premium for 23 years of support to this event.
Sail-World has covered this event in detail, as always, we have however many more stories, interview and pix to publish over the next week.
Congratulations to Bob Oatley and his Hamilton Island team, another great event in a fabulous venue. We had a mud-baby and watched the sunset from One Tree Hill last night, now back to the madding crowd.
