Melbourne Vanuatu race reports, video and more
|
Heavy weather last night for the Melbourne to Vanuatu fleet. Offshore race comms have noticeably improved and this certainly brings race coverage alive. Andrew Short Marine-Club Marine is flying towards Port Vila, read the latest from Andrew onboard. The pace is a little slower onboard BOOTS as Robyn Brooke reports. We have now video footage from the race start and interviews with skippers from the Melbourne start, courtesy of Simon Grain of Smart Marketing http://smarketing.com.au/sailing_video/ See the stories today. Big changes at Northshore Yachts, with new owner Heath Walters aiming at new markets. A new world record for Orange II and a Transatlantic record too. When you visit Sail-World Australia and Australian Cruising, you’ll see we have a new look and the mainstream advertising is starting to flow. There is nothing like 150,000 daily page views and half a million annual visitors to spark their interest!
