Talked to young Laser Sailor Tom Slingsby a few minutes ago, home on R&R from his 2006 European campaign. He baulked at paying excess baggage for his three winning trophies. They will come home at the end of the season in the shipping container, hopefully with some more .. says the 21 year old.
Tom is very pleased his training partner Michael Blackburn is set to join the European circuit. We will publish our Sail-World interview with Tom next week.
