At the ISAF Sailing World Cup Mallorca the Canadians wrapped up their regatta with mixed emotion today. Greg Douglas finished 12th overall despite his best efforts to fend off his aggressive competitiors. Isabella Bertold missed the medal race by one single point.
'It's a difficult day, a disappointing finish (11th)'. Robert Davis, top Canadian Laser, made some gains on the last day moving up nine spots to finish in 17th overall. This is the first european event of the season and no doubt some lessons taken going into the Hyeres World Cup at the end of this month.
