40 hours after walking out of the Olympic venue in Weymouth, I am on the ferry to Airlie Beach, via Heathrow, Hong Kong, Sydney and Hamilton Island. A bit less wind here today than there was during that epic and heartbreaking Womens Match Racing final on Saturday afternoon on the Nothe course. Quite a contrast to the pints of a local Dorset beer called Piddle(I kid you not) in the Ferry Bridge Hotel in Weymouth over the last few weeks.
