At the London 2012 Olympic Sailing Competition, Australia’s Olivia Price, Nina Curtis and Lucinda Whitty will race for gold in the Women’s Match Racing competition on the final day of sailing in Weymouth. The Australians qualified for the final following a tense two wins to one semifinal victory over Finland. The trio, all first time Olympians, will race against Spain with the best of five races final to begin at 12pm.

470 men – Mathew Belcher and Malcolm Page – 2 – 22 points – Gold Medal Winners Women’s Match Racing – Olivia Price, Nina Curtis and Lucinda Whitty – qualified for final following 2-1 win over Finland 470 women – Elise Rechichi and Belinda Stowell – 8 – 83 points – 7th overall
