London Olympics: Images of Weymouth - Star medals look decided
|
Current Olympic champions, Iain Percy and Andrew (Bart) Simpson (GBR) look set to defend their Olympic title, moving into a 9pt lead in the Mens Keelboat (Star), relishing the fresh conditions on Weymouth Bay, this afternoon. The big seas and fresh winds, with a spring tide made for testing conditions, with plenty of potential to drop their massive rigs. Today's results looked to have sealed the three medalists, who must surely be Percy and Simpson, Robert Scheidt and Bruno Prada (BRA) and Freddie Loof and Max Salminen (SWE). The latter two crews are locked up on 22pts. Sail-World's camera was there to catch the action, this afternoon
