The Heavyweight Mens Singlehander (Finn class) sailed two races on Weymouth Bay, today, opening the Olympic regatta on the Nothe course, in front of a large crowd of paying spectators.
That was followed with a testing race on Weymouth Bay, on the more traditional course for the class, sailed in a fresh southwesterly breeze.
The places for both races were the same, with Jonas Hogh-Christensen (DEN) winning both, followed by Ben Ainslie (GBR) and Ivan Gaspic (CRO) taking third place in both races.
