Maloney and Meech also took top honors in the womens team division, just ahead of Kristin Lane in second and Annie Schmidt in third.

In the super competitive and youthful 29er division, Lauderdale Yacht Club's Christopher Williford and Kai Friesecke took home the top prize after delivering an impressive stretch of first place finishes. Second overall went to Cody Stansky and Scott Ewing. Canada's Federique Tougas and Florence Delhaes took home third place.

A very special thanks goes out to Coconut Grove Sailing Club as they put on a marvelous event! A great gesture of appreciation is also extended to Melges USA as not only did they support all 29er and 29erXX teams with awesome ground support, but they were also presenting trophy sponsor of the event. World-class trophies were presented to the top three competitors in each class. Special thanks to Seiko for four beautiful watches presented along with Melges trophies!
