At the Sydney International Boat Show starting today, the Team Windcraft in-water display features twelve new yachts and the Fjord 40 Motorboat.

We would like to invite you to share our excitement with the latest models in the range of these stunning yachts from Europe.

Please join us at the Windcraft display at the Cockle Bay entrance to the Marina (in front of Nick's Seafood Restaurant) and have a look at the following yachts on show.

HANSE 545

Bold, modern and cutting edge, the 545 is completely new with innovative design approaches and an outstanding interior layout for the 54 ft class. The Hanse 545 will be seen for the first time in Australia at Sydney International Boat show this year.

A vast cockpit with two areas, a classic inspired coach- roof design and twin vertical hull windows offer benefits beyond the visual. The room proportions down below are quite different with spectacular possibilities for interior configuration. One choice is a stately and luxurious aft owner's cabin; however the variable cabin concept leaves the interior to the individual.

The 545 on display at the show is specified with in-mast furling (with fully vertical battened North's main), dinghy garage, twin carbon wheels, 6Kva generator in the engine room and ducting for reverse cycle air - conditioning. For entertainers - two fridge/freezers and the Nespresso coffee machine.

HANSE 430

An elegant yacht with beautiful lines. The 430 is an ideal cruiser/racer for family weekends or adventurous cruising. The superior engineering of this Judel/Vrolijk design and sheer style is apparent in every aspect of the boat.

Powerful and yet easy to sail well with just the family on board. Consistent with all the others in the Hanse range the 430 is designed from the keel up to be sailed with a self tacking headsail. As with most of the other models, Selden in-mast furling is an option. This is a yacht for the discerning buyer.

HANSE 400

Australia's most popular Hanse. This model is so versatile that it appeals to all types of sailors. Fifty of these yachts have been sold in Australia in the past five years.

Twin wheel steering option or large single wheel, clean, clear decks and generous storage on deck and below. Endless interior design options including large island bed, choice of one or two heads, two or three cabins and different wood finishes.

HANSE 375

This brand new model makes the best selling model ever produced by the Hanse yard even better. Extremely stylish with the open transom and twin wheel option the 375 offers a cross over design concept: the fast, stiff hull, T-keel and performance rig with tapered mast ensures speed.

Option this to suit your own style of sailing, for example a Genoa for the regatta or a gennaker for relaxed cruising. Available in two or three cabin versions with a choice of three different wood interiors.

HANSE 350

The Hanse 350 has a large cockpit and choice of two or three cabins in a layout that cleverly maximizes space. Catering easily for a family, the 350 is also designed to be sailed with just one or two on board. The tall rig has been purposefully designed for carrying the self tacking headsail providing high performance even solo. The 350 is an excellent all rounder.

MOODY 41 CLASSIC

The Moody Classic 41 will debut at SIBS. She combines the best of modern design and engineering with the traditional values associated with Moody Yachts. The classic stern, oval windows, shiny mahogany and shaker style windows are all reminiscent of old-school yacht building.

Moody designer, Bill Dixon, has worked with Hanse to design a fast and comfortable cruising yacht. Features such as twin wheel steering provides excellent visibility and security, the composite performance keel produces a high level of stiffness and upwind speed, and the high aspect double spreader rig featuring self tacking headsail and North's tri-radial cruise laminate sails facilitates short-handed performance sailing. Below, the warm and elegant interior, created using rich mahogany veneers and solid mahogany trims, inspires a feeling of timelessness and well-being.

MOODY 45 DECK SALOON

Introduced to Australia two years ago, the Moody 45 Deck Saloon represents the embodiment of the 'retirement home on the water'. She's spacious, comfortable and fast.

The 'one level living' concept is a unique approach to modern yacht design - open the sliding doors and enjoy a 360° view from the living area and the spacious cockpit on the same level. The deck saloon provides superb protection when sailing on the wind. Unlike other deck salon yachts, this is no motor sailor.

The Moody 45 Deck Saloon is a fast boat due to her slippery shape and light vinylester construction. Bill Dixon's design offers a modern L-shaped composite keel combined with a twin-rudder steering system and optimized high aspect rig promising fast passages under sail. Her 110HP engine with shaft drive ensures the efficient back-up for when the trades are not blowing.

DEHLER 35

There is no other European sailing boat brand that has won so many titles as Dehler yachts.

Successes in World Championships, Kiel Week and Copa del Rey are common in Dehler history. An impressive total of more than 26,000 yachts have been built since Dehler was founded in Freienohl, Germany.

Dehler has recently become an independent brand under the umbrella of HanseYachts AG and is continuing to rewrite yachting history whilst still being built at the Freienohl yard.

The new Dehler 35 will make its debut at SIBS. The Dehler 35 is a true performance yacht. She was designed to lead the pack around the buoys. The hull and deck is laminated by hand. There is maximum torsion stiffness and a torpedo keel with low centre of gravity.

At the same time this boat proves right down to the smallest detail that superb sailing performance and family orientated comforts need not be contradicting. Several innovations that have so far only been found on larger yachts now make their entry into the Dehler 35.

For example flush mounted deck hatches, saloon windows in a modern metal frame and good ventilation. The generous transom area behind the wheel steering has space for two removable stowage boxes which can stay ashore when racing.

DEHLER 45
The Dehler 45 raises the bar and sets new standards in the racer/cruiser class. The Dehler 45 combines outstanding sailing performance, seaworthiness, German engineering, and optimum space utilization with a wide range of technical innovations.

With modern designs inside and out, the Dehler 45 is both a powerful regatta racer with the highest speed potential and an elegant cruiser with first-class sailing comfort. The designers have used their extensive know-how and creativity to develop multifunctional and flexible solutions for all sailing and weather situations.

The Sydney International Boat Show runs from July 29th to August 2nd inclusive. If you are in Sydney during that time and are planning to visit the Show, please drop by and say g'day.
