Olympic Test Event - On the final day the US Team took to the spectator-friendly Nothe Course for the medal races. Iker Martinez and Xabier Hernandez led the Australians by four points before the Medal Race meaning that for the Australians to win they had to finish ahead of the Spaniards by two places

Weymouth and Portland International Regatta - Ben Ainslie (GBR) produced pure brilliance on the final full racing day Ben Ainslie (GBR) produced pure brilliance on the final full racing day for Finns at the Weymouth and Portland International Regatta. Not only did he win both races in confident fashion, he also dispatched his nearest rival in an audacious match racing move before the start, sealing his regatta win with a day to spare.

At the Weymouth and Portland International Regatta, it was ladies day for the US Team At the Weymouth and Portland International Regatta, it was ladies day for the US Team with entries in two of the day’s medal races. Paige Railey won a bronze medal in Laser Radial, and Erin Maxwell and Isabelle Kinsolving Farrar claimed a 470 Women’s ninth overall.

Weymouth and Portland International Regatta - Japan’s Kondo and Tabata sealed a fantastic gold medal in the Women’s 470 Weymouth and Portland International Regatta - Japan’s Ai Kondo and Wakako Tabata sealed a fantastic gold medal in the Women’s 470 after they overhauled Great Britain’s Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark on a day that decided the medals in the Laser, Laser Radial and Men’s and Women’s 470.

The Weymouth and Portland International Regatta day ten has presented yet another day of hammering winds. The Weymouth and Portland International Regatta day ten has presented yet another day of hammering winds on Weymouth Bay which disrupted plans for racing. One of the few classes to make it off the docks was the Star class, which completed two races. Mark Mendelblatt and Brian Fatih scored a tenth and fifth to hold the overall eighth position.

Weymouth and Portland International Regatta has now witnessed three sailors claim gold medals. Weymouth and Portland International Regatta, the Olympic Test event, has now witnessed Dorian Van Rijsselberge of the Netherlands, Zofia Klepacka of Poland and Silja Lehtinen of Finland claim the first gold medals after a gripping day of sailing on the Nothe in winds in between fifteen and twenty knots.

At the Weymouth and Portland International Regatta, athletes from the U.S. turned in a variety of impressive results. At the Weymouth and Portland International Regatta, the Olympic Test event, winds howled and gusted up to twenty five knots. Meanwhile, athletes from the United States turned in a variety of impressive results including two wins in the Laser Radial class by Paige Railey.

At the Weymouth and Portland International Regatta, the Olympic Test event, Marit Bouwmeester has taken the gold medal. At the Weymouth and Portland International Regatta, the Olympic Test event, Marit Bouwmeester has taken the gold medal in the Laser Radial with the Medal Race still to go. The Dutch sailor has dominated the Laser Radial fleet almost from the outset with a tremendous display and she heads into the Medal Race with an unassailable thirty-two point lead.
