Weta has reached 1000 boats! With a lot of hard work, Roger and Chris Kitchen have achieved a milestone in the NZ marine industry.
Check out the video, a fun retrospective look at Weta 1 to 1000
In 2004 Weta Marine responded to a gap in the market for a versatile dinghy and came up with a winner. The production of 1000 boats is a very strong endorsement of an outstanding trimaran concept that is the Weta.
The Weta has all the advantages of a monohull with manoeuvrability and storage as well as the benefits of a multihull with stability and performance.
A quality, simple, one design family sailboat, the Weta is unique and has firmly established itself as the premier beach family sail boat around the world.
