Camper with Emirates Team New Zealand finish leg one of the Volvo Ocean Race in Cape Town second behind Team Telefonica. Chris Cameron/Volvo Ocean Race www.volvooceanrace.com
With only one leg and two in-port races left to go here’s a quick look back at some of the highlights of the campaign to date – from injuries in the Atlantic and a visit from King Neptune, to a rapturous welcome home in Auckland, and a sublime in-port performance, to the thrill of Southern Ocean sailing, the despair of a broken bow, and the determination of a Puerto Montt pit stop.
It’s all here mainly thanks to the amazing work of Camper’s MCM Hamish Hooper.
The only question now? What will the last three weeks bring? Stay tuned to www.etnzblog.com
