Vicsail's newest yacht in their marque is the SLY Yacht. Arriving safely in Newport, she is ready to be tried in Australian water. We will be following her and recording her through different conditions. To follow her performance, find her on Facebook- https://www.facebook.com/slyaustralia?ref=hl

SLY Yachts are produced using state-of-the-art solutions and materials. Their research and development geared not only towards performance, but also to safety and comfort. The use of glass fibre and carbon fibre sandwiched with epoxy resins, together with use of the vacuum bag process and follow-up care, ensure a quality that is more lightweight, more rigid, has less torsion and offer greater reliability and durability guarantees in the long term. This kind of construction, together with excellent weight distribution (43% of the overall weight of the craft is concentrated in the lead fin and bulb offering an improved righting arm), better facilitates glide and manoeuvre in both motorboat and sailboat versions and improved wave cutting, also in strong winds and fully risen seas. The mast, boom and rudder shaft in carbon favour reduced pitch and list.

Take a look at her sailing in her native water of Italy.
