US Sailing Team AlphaGraphics – the national sailing team comprised of the country’s top performing Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls – unveiled a revised team logo. The team’s title sponsor AlphaGraphics, the provider of visual communications for businesses through nearly 300 owner-operated, locally-based business centers worldwide, recently launched a new corporate identity to reflect a global focus on innovation and ingenuity. The USSTAG logo incorporates AlphaGraphics’new logo into the team’s all American red, white and blue design.
'Since 2008, AlphaGraphics has been the title sponsor of the US Sailing Team, a first for any national Olympic Team in the U.S.,' said Dean Brenner (Wallingford, Conn.), Chairman of the Olympic Sailing Committee. 'Together we share the common goals of excellence, high performance and entrepreneurship. As our Olympic and Paralympic athletes compete around the world, they carry with them those ideals symbolized by the AlphaGraphics name incorporated into our logo, the primary branding element of the team.'
'For the first time in 41 years, AlphaGraphics has changed its logo and tagline as part of a brand evolution, reflecting the culture change that is happening in our network as we move into the marketing services arena,' said Kevin Cushing (Salt Lake City), CEO of AlphaGraphics. 'We are fortunate to also partner with US Sailing Team AlphaGraphics and to have their team collateral and branding elements as a platform to re-introduce ourselves to our current and future customers.'
The new USSTAG logo will be implemented across the team’s website, social media and the team’s signature 'American Red' Atlantis WeatherGear team apparel.
