Top of the Gulf Regatta 2012 - Platus, Coronation Cup Guy Nowell/Top of the Gulf
?With only two Platus left for charter, the Coronation Cup Platu fleet looks to be the largest and most competitive yet. Back to defend their crown is the Australian 'Easy Tiger Racing Team' on their brand-new Batam-built Platu 'Easy Tiger IV'. The same crew line-up, lead by Chris Way, are looking forward to the challenge. Fifteen Platus in total will be on the startline, and if you're still interested, there are just two possibilities left for charter. Contact us quick.

Top of the Gulf is delighted to welcome onboard Sansiri PLC who will be the presenting sponsor for the Thailand Optimist National Championships this year. The TOG Regatta has supported the Nationals for eight years and is very proud to encourage and support youth sailing in the Gulf of Thailand, and excited that Sansiri are joining our efforts to further support of sailing in Thailand at the youth level. These youngsters are the future of sailing.

And a bonus - to encourage visiting yachts to compete in both the TOG Regatta and the Samui Regatta, Ocean Marina will again extend special privileges, including free mooring during the Regatta plus an additional week if proceeding to Samui for the regatta there.

J70 World Championship – Day 2
Three races were held on Berkeley Circle for the 68 international teams competing in the races on Wednesday. The conditions were once again, true San Francisco. The fog was lurking if not covering the race course, the wind had bite, and blew 14-18 knots. There was a big left shift in the last race that caught more than one local off guard.
