Gavin Brady will again be representing the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC) when he competes in the 2010 Congressional Cup, hosted by the Long Beach Yacht Club from 23 to 27 March. Gavin has previously won 4 Congressional Cups, including the race in 2006 when he represented RHKYC.

March is a busy month for Brady as he competes in both the Southern and the Northern Hemispheres; soon after he finishes skippering for the Mascalzone Latino Audi Team in the Louis Vuitton Trophy Auckland, he will be competing in the Congressional Cup in Long Beach, California.

The Team RHKYC skippered by Gavin Brady features other well-known sailors and they will be pitted against nine other teams. The RHKYC team comprises:-

Tactician Chris Larson (USA) Coach in 2010 for Gavin Brady in the Louis Vuitton Series

Mainsheet Trimmer James Baxter (New Zealand) Mainsheet Trimmer on Beau Geste

Trimmer Zac Hurst (New Zealand) Trimmer in the last America’s Cup for BMW Oracle Racing Team

Pitman Rodney Daniel (Australia) Pitman in the last America’s Cup for BMW Oracle Racing Team

Bowman Kazuhiko Sofuku (Japan) Bowman for BMW Oracle Racing Team
