Wireless electronics experts, Tacktick, who sponsored the recent J109 Nationals at the WPNSA in Portland were also at the front fleet in terms of instruments being used on the winning boat.

J-Dream owned by David and Kirsty Apthorp were crowned National Champions with a 5 point lead with a boat equipped with Tacktick’s performance electronics. In all twenty five J/109’s took part in the event which delivered lively and varied conditions for the crews.

Commenting on their win and their choice of Tacktick electronics, Kirsty Apthorp said, 'We had Tacktick instruments on our J/105 and when we bought a J/109 we investigated different instrument options however we decided on Tacktick electronics because they are reliable, easy to use and the customer care and regatta support is excellent. It was great to see the masthead displays showing 15 knots plus on the final run to secure the recent National Championship at Weymouth.'
