Australian Phil 'Blood' Jameson shoots the breeze with Lulu Roseman after helping his crew aboard Quantum Racing win the practice race ahead of the TP 52 Worlds in the Bay of Palma.
Jameson commented 'There is no room for relaxation and every boat is going to be tough to beat,' Jameson says.
'The fleet is very competitive and any one of these boats can win here in Palma.
'It is a fantastic place to sail and I think everyone enjoys coming here. It's a beautiful city.
We don't know a hell of a lot about the newer teams but we'd imagine that they will be pretty hungry to get good results. Henri Lloyd Weapon of Choice got a second in the practice race yesterday, so they will be pretty encouraged with that.'
'We on Quantum Racing are here to win. We're not here to make up the numbers, and we'll be fighting hard for a good result. The entire team is focused and motivated.
'We'll probably sail pretty loose to start with, just keeping an eye on what the other teams are doing.'
He adds that the team is very similar to last year so the crew know the boat like the back of their hands and their entire manoeuvres are well practiced.
'Communication on board is very good and everyone knows their area and what they are responsible for. It should be a fun week.'
