Sydney THIS WEEK! Video has show covered, Lifestyle adds Zodiac RIB

by Jeni Bone, editor on 26 Jul 2011
11 members of the TetraMedia MarineBusiness-World.com, Sail-World.com, Powerboat-World.com, FishingBoating-world.com media team will be at Sydney Boat Show MarineBusiness-World.com . http://www.marinebusiness-world.com
Three more sleeps until this year's Sydney International Boat Show, or if you're an exhibitor, very little sleep between now and next Monday!

Every interview we have conducted in the past few days has been with busy people bumping in boats, products and displays, driving forklifts, issuing instructions and getting things ready for the 44th annual show.

Domenic Genua from the organising team promises it will be a massive show and boast all the ingredients to attract the broadest visitation.

Now just lay some appropriate gifts (Bundy or Gordons, where I'm from) at the alter of those fickle weather Gods and it will be pure sailing.

As the Internet marches across the marine scene, the TetraMedia team, which is 11-strong this year, plans to bring our readers of MarineBusiness-World.com, Powerboat-World.com, Sail-World.com and FishingBoat-World.com online publications all the colour, innovation, personalities and trends of this year's event. We will be reporting in detail from the Sydney International Boat Show.

As we did at the 2011 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, we will be video reporting and interviewing.

The team will be comprised of me, Mark Rothfield, Rob Kothe, Nancy Knudsen, Phil Arane, Mark Cherrington, Daryl Krasu, Bob Wonders, Sara Vincent, Steven Sun, and John Curnow who will all be reporting for the group, conducting dozens and dozens of interviews across the show - a tangible indication of the demand for immediate access to relevant, authoritative online news and features.

If you have a newsworthy story, interesting new products or a company representative we should be talking to, please contact us NOW!

Sail-World and Sail-World Cruising.com, Powerboat-World, FishingBoating-World.com and MarineBusiness-WorldCom are in combination easily the largest marine publications in the southern hemisphere – with 220,000 individual readers each month. By the way if you read all of our publications we still only count you once.

We are the most read boating media group in Australia. Last week our top daily audience was 29,500 readers, with three other days over 23,000.

In other news this week, along with plenty of product releases and world-firsts for Sydney, we have the impeccable new season's collections from Musto, delivering performance, practicality and stylish good looks, as well as insight in to a host of businesses realigning their product offering to suit the times and consumer appetite.

Lifestyle Marine in Toronto, just over one hour north of Sydney, has taken on the entire Zodiac range to become the exclusive NSW dealer, while on the Gold Coast, MEC has found that by diversifying and applying its expertise in various areas it is possible to stay busy and generate word-of-mouth referral even in a constricted market.

We will have plenty more stories in the lead up to Sydney, as well as during and post-show. Again, get in touch via email editor@marinebusiness-world.com or mobile 0412 230 002 to arrange an interview either at your stand or at the TetraMedia hub. We want to hear from you.

All the best for a spectacular show!
