Multihull Solutions,at the 2013 Sydney International Boat Show, will delight both sail and power enthusiasts as they showcase three outstanding new catamarans. In the north western corner of Cockle Bay Marina, Multihull Solutions will exhibit two sailing catamarans including the fiery Catana 42 and the Fountaine Pajot Sanya 57, and at the marina’s southern end, the new version of the Summerland 40 power catamaran by Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts will be displayed. Multihull Solutions managing director Mark Elkington said the company anticipates an extremely strong amount of interest at the show, following their success at the recent Sanctuary Cove Boat Show where they recorded more than $4.6million in sales. 'We were inundated by genuine buyers at Sanctuary Cove which reflects the soaring popularity of multihulls as the ideal boat design due to their safety, comfort, value and performance,' Mark said. 'With the remarkable rate of enquiries we are now fielding from the southern states, we expect to exceed these sales in new and pre-owned boat sales at the Sydney International Boat Show,' he said. The Catana 42 is sure to be a showstopper, with many multihull enthusiasts expressing their intention to inspect the catamaran, which clocked over 22knots in recent European sea trials. The catamaran sails at incredible speeds due to the comprehensive range of exclusive technical innovations including a carbon infusion construction process. The Catana 42’s unique beam/length ratio, adjustable daggerboards, tilted and tulip-shaped bows, aerodynamic coach-roof and torpedo-shaped hulls make it a revolution in the marine industry. The Catana 42’s ambient and spacious interior affords 360° panoramic views from generous windows. With direct access to the cockpit, its saloon is the hub of the boat and is equipped with an abundance of storage space. The light-filled cabins, excellent ventilation, contemporary interior design, thermal and audio insulation, all come together to make life on board easier and more comfortable. Multihull Solutions will also exhibit the spectacular Fountaine Pajot Sanya 57, which is one of the jewels in the shipyard’s prestigious Flagship range. With its unique, contemporary design and construction strategically tailored for ocean passages and unforgettably family holidays, the Sanya 57 is the ultimate in luxury cruising. The Sanya 57 on display is Multihull Solutions’ company demonstrator. This demonstrator model is offered for sale at a significantly reduced price, providing an exciting opportunity for astute buyers. Mark Elkington said the Sanya 57 will particularly appeal to cruising enthusiasts who appreciate exemplary quality and design with absolute value for money. 'This is truly a luxury catamaran which combines the finest in construction and build techniques with premium design features,' Mark said. Also on display at the show will be the revitalised Summerland 40. Sparkling with a host of upgrades and a stunning interior makeover, the popular catamaran by Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts continues to impress with its very low fuel consumption. The new model Summerland 40 catamaran has a newly designed saloon that provides 360-degree visibility through panoramic windows, additional storage space, and improved integration of the galley and cockpit areas. All of the cabins have been upgraded with premium quality finishes and fixtures, and the flybridge with its hardtop bimini has been revised to optimise spaciousness. In addition to exhibiting these three special models, Multihull Solutions will be showcasing a range of premium pre-owned multihulls in a special Brokerage section of their boat show stand. Representatives from Sunreef Yachts and NEEL Trimarans will also be on hand to assist with all queries regarding their range. Further information and inspection bookings can be arranged by contacting Multihull Solutions at info@multihullsolutions.com.au or on 1300 855 338 or +61 (0) 7 5452 5164 (in Australia) or visiting the website.
