The popularity of Smart1Marine’s innovative range of boating security products has had a tremendous lift in momentum since the beginning of the year.

Smart1Marine are the Australian distributors for the Yacht-Sentinel family of products that include a vast array of boating security products for most boating scenarios. Their products are the ultimate answer to keeping a constant look-out for your craft. It is always on watch and allows you to make essential checks from wherever you are in the world.

This intelligent system alerts you to possible problems and monitors the state of your craft at all times and sends constant updates to your mobile. Installation is simple and straightforward.

The products are manufactured in Germany and originate from their designers and parent company in the UK.
Smart1Marine commenced low key distribution in Australia 4 years ago in order to allow them time to ensure the products were meeting local demand and conditions. At the beginning of this year, Smart1Marine expanded their range and distribution after it completed its market research and product testing.

Dee Montague-Jones from Smart1Marine said, 'We wanted to ensure that our products worked well in the local environment. We didn’t want to enter the Australian market place without proper research and testing. We have done this now and over 100 vessel owners are enjoying the peace of mind our products give.'

Many users have already seen the benefits of the product with Greg and Janie Page owners of Skedaddle in Queensland saying 'We’ve had heaps of drama with shore power at our marina in Queensland, so before leaving for a Tasmanian Drive holiday, we’d arranged a friendly boatie to reset the power supply for us when needed...and we knew when that was because YS sent us a text message that we picked up from our camper van! Without YS, our batteries would’ve died trying keeping the 2 fridges going. The iPhone app has made it very handy to use as well.'

The range of products is surprisingly inexpensive with a variety of options for differing boating needs. Their web site smart1marine.com.au has a comprehensive overview of the range and you can easily order on-line. Boaties are also welcome to call Dee on the Customer Care line 0403 864 947 for a chat about what would best suit their needs, or check with one of the authorised marine electricians listed on their web site.
