Come and take a look at the all new Nacra 17 designed for the 2016 Olympics! This new design marks the return of the multihull sailing to the Games.
The Nacra 17 high-performance catamaran is the fastest Olympic sailing boat and is attracting a strong interest from top-ranked athletes world-wide. It is reinvigorating small boat multihull sailing for the masses.
The boat was designed by Morrelli & Melvin who have extensive experience designing and racing on America's Cup cats including Stars & Stripes, America's Cup catamaran in 1988, BMW Oracle in 2010, and currently are part of the Emirates Team New Zealand 2013 America's Cup design team.
Morrelli & Melvin designs have won 17 Boat of the Year selections including 18 Gunboat designs from 48-90ft, and have designed over 500 cruising cats from 38ft to 46ft, built by Robertson and Caine, exclusively used by the Moorings and Sunsail charter fleets.
