Visitors to Auckland's Viaduct harbour have been treated to a floating acrobatic act over the past two weeks, with further 20 minute shows happening between Tauranga and Whangarei in the coming months.
The ex circus and theatre couple plus their two children arrived in NZ in November having left France in 2004 on their round the world journey, performing in ports along the way.
Franck and Delphine do two performances a day with this video showing parts of the 4.30pm comic parody version while the later show is a more romantic display. This show demonstrated some novel ways to board a boat, set up a spinnaker pole, retrieve a halyard and how to look for more wind.
Meanwhile superyacht ‘Janice of Wyoming’ returned from her Millennium Cup race followed later by Emirates Team New Zealands ‘Aotearoa’ after another day of sailing.
Their next show is at Half Moon Bay followed by Tauranga, Sandspit, a return to Auckland then Whangarei before crossing the Tasman in May with daughters Loeva and Ondja on their yacht ‘La Loupiote’.
