RYA ‘Our Sporting Life - Sail for Gold’ Olympic and Paralympic sailing exhibition is being held at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall, in Falmouth until 24 June 2012. Truly inspiring generations; David Bond, aged 90, Great Britain’s last surviving Olympic Gold medallist from the London 1948 Games and Ben Ainslie; Britain’s most successful Olympic sailor are pictured together at the exhibition.
Capturing Olympic history, together they represent Great Britain’s Olympic sailing legacy, and not only share phenomenal skills at sailing but they have Falmouth, Cornwall as their home town.
The ‘Our Sporting Life – Sail for Gold’ exhibition at National Maritime Museum Cornwall in Falmouth celebrates British’s unique Olympic and Paralympic sailing heritage and if you are an RYA member you can enjoy and exclusive 10% discount on the price of admission (which is valid for a year) for the duration of the exhibitions visit.
