Sail for Gold Regatta 2011 commences 6th June

Sail for Gold Regatta 2011 will set the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy in the limelight for the sailing world when the event commences on June 6th.

Sail for Gold Regatta 2011 will welcome many of the world’s greatest sailors and windsurfers as well as Paralympians are already on-site training from the Academy.

Lilley is one of the tallest and heaviest Finn sailors in Rio, but also, at just 23 years old, one of the youngest. An intensely physical sailor Lilley stands head and shoulders over most of the fleet and is beginning to show some of his huge potential on the racecourse, with several top results in the past year.
