It's a cool morning here on Queensland's Sunshine Coast for the commencement of Sail Mooloolaba 2012. Overcast conditions with 10 - 15 knots from the west, which may build to 20 knots later in the day may test some of the recently launched sports boats, like Raptor (Stealth 8.5), Stay Tuned (Leech 650) and SlingShot (Leech 650). Racing commences today for the week long regatta, which entails an eclectic fleet of Sports Boats, Keelboats, Multihulls, Match Racing, Radio controlled yachts, Disability sailing and Dinghies.
This weekend sees a competitive fleet racing in the Australian Sports Boat Association Queensland Championship, with the Keel Boat and Multihull also taking to the course.
