The SLAM Combined High Schools Championship 2013 - A record number of boats have entered for the prestigious race. Over 150 boats have entered the event which will be held on Lake Macquarie and hosted by Belmont 16ft Sailing Club.

Reigning 2012 Champion Beynon Telford will again be competing to defend his title. The event showcases some of Australia’s best youth sailors and the fleet has many State and National Champions from a variety of different classes and includes current Australian 29er ISAF representative Harry Price.
Racing commences on Tuesday with an Invitation Race and the official Championship starts on Wednesday 17th April and continuing until Saturday 20th April.
