The Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race 2013 could lose one of its high-profile boats after Syd Fischer’s Ragamuffin-Loyal reportedly sustained damage to its mast Wednesday evening. The Ragamuffin-Loyal team is currently evaluating the damage suffered and is expected to make an announcement soon.

The 2012 Rolex Sydney Hobart fleet currently stands at 78 yachts, following the withdrawal of Victoire (Darryl Hodgkinson’s Beneteau 45) and Terra Firma (Nicholas Bartels’ Cookson 50).
