Riva Iseo, one of the latest models to be produced by the historical Sebino shipyard which has just celebrated its ‘first’ 170 years, is on show from 12th to 20th January 2013 at the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show.

The Ferretti Group, world leader in the design, construction and sale of motoryachts, with a unique portfolio of the most exclusive and prestigious brands in the nautical world, continues with its busy programme taking part in the most important international boat shows, by presenting one of Riva’s latest models, Iseo at the London Boat Show 2013, with its local dealer Ventura. The historical Sebino shipyard has just celebrated its ‘first’ 170 years of history.

The model, fruit of the working relationship between Officina Italiana Design, which exclusively designs all the yachts in the Riva range, and AYTD – Advanced Yacht Technology and Design – the Ferretti Group’s research, nautical development and design centre has been devised as a yacht to enjoy wherever owners want, and whose strong points are elegance and ease of transportation. The standard version of the yacht has been kitted out with a trailer for towing the yacht behind a vehicle to a lake or the sea.

In just 27 feet, Iseo ‘concentrates’ the perfection and style which have made Riva into a true icon of glamour and timeless elegance. The soft, clean lines, a careful study carried out on the volumes, the unique distinctive attention paid to detail and use of the most sophisticated materials are the characteristics make the Iseo the noble heir to a centuries-old history of excellence and artisan skill. A tie with the past attested by the extensive use of mahogany, symbol of the Riva brand, beautifully crafted, as per tradition, and painted with twenty coats of paint of which ten applied by brush and ten sprayed on.

Each and every detail of the Iseo was carefully designed, guaranteeing comfort and a high performance. The standard diesel version features a Yanmar 6BY2 260mph engine and Yanmar ZT 370 duoprop stern drive, which push the yacht to a top speed of 36 knots. Alternatively, the optional version features a Yanmar 8LV 320mph engine and Yanmar ZT 370 duoprop stern drive, with a top speed of 40 knots. The petrol version of the Iseo features a Mercruiser 377 DTS MAG 320mph V8 engine and Bravo Three stern drive which pushes the yacht to a top speed of 41 knots. Iseo will also be available with a hybrid engine.

The Italian-made excellence of the entire Ferretti Group will also be a leading figure at Stand A220 in association with long-term English dealer Ventura, where visitors will be able to admire 1:30 scale models of some of the most important yachts of the other Group brands, including Custom Line 100’, Ferretti 800, Pershing 115’, Riva 86’ Domino e Riva 63’ Virtus., Pershing 82’ and Mochi Craft Dolphin 74’ Cruiser.
