Ricoh Australia sponsors CYCA's Youth Academy Elliott 6

Ricoh Australia, one of the leading providers of document and imaging solutions to Australian businesses, has committed to the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia’s Youth Sailing Academy through a sponsorship of one of the Elliott 6 yachts.

Ricoh works closely with its customers to create innovative, unique and tailored solutions that truly deliver business efficiencies to support their knowledge management. Ricoh solutions simplify the life and work of our customers, allowing them to focus on their own business priorities.

'The CYCA has a prominent and long-standing history within the Australian yachting community and Ricoh is proud to have joined the team as a sponsor of the CYCA Youth Sailing Academy,' said Ricoh Australia's Managing Director, Les Richardson.



'This sponsorship is an expansion of Ricoh’s local support and is beneficial for both parties. The CYCA have a fleet of our latest products and we look forward to continuing our support while adding value and expertise to the organisation’s operations.'

CYCA Commodore Howard Piggott thanked Ricoh Australia for their support of youth sailing. 'The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia prides itself on the services and facilities offered through our Youth Sailing Academy. Elliott sponsorship is vital to the ongoing maintenance of the training fleet and provides support for the many programs and regattas that the CYCA's Youth Sailing Academy conducts,' Commodore Piggott said.



'A new fleet of Elliott 7.0m boats will be launched in August this year to coincide with the 20 year anniversary of the foundation of the Youth Sailing Academy,' he Cruising Yacht Club of Australia

America’s Cup World Series – Sir Ben jumps into the lead in Portsmouth
Hot, sunny conditions and thousands of fans lining the Portsmouth seafront was the backdrop to crowd-pleasing action. The home team, Land Rover BAR, led by skipper Sir Ben Ainslie, recovered from a poor first race result to win the second two contests and complete the day at the top of the leaderboard, much to the delight of the tens of thousands of cheering fans lining the shorefront.

LV America's Cup World Series 2016 – Poised to pounce for Super Sunday
Oracle Team USA showed determination and fightback in claiming two second place finishes from the first two races Unfortunately, in the third race, the team was pushed right to the back of the pack and couldn't recover. The results leave the team on equal points for third place with SoftBank Team Japan, just three points behind the leaders, Land Rover BAR and Groupama Team France.
