Race to Mackinac 2011 Tracking registration deadline this Friday

by Greg Freeman on 14 Jun 2011
.. .
Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac 2011 Tracking Registration Form is available online.

The deadline for getting Tracking Registration forms and ORR Certificates to us is this Friday, June 17, 2011. After this date, the Late Entry Deadline published in the NOR, late fees may apply. We encourage you to complete these activities as soon as possible but not later than Friday, June 17, 2011. If you need to contact the Offshore Office at US Sailing, contact information is in the Notice of Race.

The Tracker sign-up process is much easier to use this year. Simply go to our website and Click on Documents and then on Maintain Your Info. Log-in with your User Id and Password and then select the link for Race Tracking – Sign-up and follow the instructions when you get to the landing page. It’s simple and fast. The form will be pre-populated with information from the Mac data base. You will be asked to give a credit card number to reserve your tracker but you will not be charged anything unless the tracker is not returned after the race. Please note the system does not accept Debit Cards, so please use a Credit Card only.

After you complete the process, you’ll get two e-mail receipts from the system. One goes to the Skipper and the other to Credit Card owner. In most cases that is the same person and you will receive two receipts. This is not an error – the system is designed to do this.

Thank you for completing these two very important items. With the race only 32 days away, it’s time to finish up the paper work and get ready to go racing.

If you have any questions, please contact Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac website
