On Friday, entries for the 2013 RS Feva Worlds set to take place in Tuscany - smashed through the 100 boat mark – and there is still nearly six months left to the start of the event! No time to be complacent about your entry though if it’s not already in.
The entry limit is 180 so don’t miss that appointment with the Tuscan sun, sea and glorious pasta and wine! Fourteen countries from three continents are coming so far. This is going to be such a nice week and the latest from the yacht club in Grosetto is that all the early planning is going well.
In fact entries surged through the 100 mark courtesy of a massive entry of eight boats from the Royal Maas Yacht Club in Holland who hosted the 2011 Worlds and that was quickly followed by two Swiss boats! The Czech fleet is clearly in fine fettle with eight boats entered as well for their inaugural trip to the worlds. Other new entrants include Lithuania, Switzerland whilst we also have the first boat to travel from Los Angeles, USA. The Lithuanians are getting ready for the event with participation at the International Training Camp in Spain over Easter – and they are driving there – Roadtrip!! So it seems clear that excitement is building nicely for the best of warm weather sailing. See you
