Pacasmayo Classic closes in style as the sun sets in Peru

by Russ Faurot on 1 Sep 2015
Camille Juban - 2015 Pacasmayo Classic Miguel Cortez
Riders spent the final day of the 2015 Pacasmayo Classic, relaxing and preparing to travel home, full of new memories and tales of endless Peruvian waves.

With light winds, most riders took to the water with their SUP or surf boards to make the most of the pumping glassy surf. The evening entertainment started at 5:30pm with the awards ceremony overlooking the waves in front of the hotel.

Following the awards in five divisions, riders, sponsors and staff watched the preview of the event video on the big screen. With formalities completed, it was time to party hard and enjoy the endless BBQ with the sun setting. Thanks to the DJ’s for the banging tunes and thanks to our event sponsor, Corona for supplying refreshments.
