It was a perfect morning to clear the head of Christmas Day festivities, and enjoy a wonderful day on the water racing on Port Phillip Bay today. The fleet of 93 set off at 10.30am for the race to Blairgowrie, in a very pleasant 12 - 15 knot south easterly.

Brian Pattinson’s Open 66, Gusto completed the race just 5 minutes outside of the race record at 15:15:58. The remainder of the fleet are expected to finish throughout the afternoon.

Tomorrow, some of today's fleet will start the Melbourne to Hobart (Eastcoaster or Westcoaster) and Melbourne to Launceston Races.
