North South Yachting announce Bavaria 31 Cruiser

'The Bavaria 31 Cruiser encompasses many innovative ideas'    Bavaria Yachts
North South Yachting is proud to announce the latest release from Europe’s most modern boat building facility, Bavaria Yachts in Germany. Following on from the worldwide success of their sailing yachts, Bavaria has released an exciting addition to the Cruising range called the Bavaria 31 Cruiser.

Special attention has been paid to what sailors need and expect in a modern cruising yacht. The designers J&J, have come up with the perfect performance cruising yacht, especially suited to warm climates like the Med and Australia.

In classic Bavaria style the Bavaria 31 Cruiser encompasses many of the innovative ideas from the current Cruising range and the newer Visions. Added to this are a few new ideas previously only seen on yachts twice this size and all with Bavaria’s renowned Quality, Performance and Value hallmark.

Just some of the new features that come as standard on the Bavaria 31 Cruiser are listed below:

- Electrically lowerable transom platform and swim ladder more commonly seen on much larger yachts

- Superb ventilation via a total of six opening windows and hatches in the saloon

- Larger head including wet hanging locker and more storage space

- Efficient use of space with larger cockpit seats 2.2m long

- Larger cockpit table with built in drinks esky.

- Mainsheet traveller with German mainsheet system leading back to winches in the cockpit

- A total of six winches in the cockpit

- A modern deck layout with lines leading below deck and recess for the dodger

All this and more come as standard on the new Bavaria 31 Cruiser, which is actually 32ft long! 'We are excited about this new release from Bavaria and confident that the Bavaria 31 Cruiser can look forward to a bright future downunder' said Dan Jones from North South Yachting.

Scheduled to begin production in June 2007 the Bavaria 31 Cruiser is available for an Australian sail away price of $185,000 inc gst.
